it illuminates our chest

wisps like feathers

gently waving
bubbling, sloshing
challenging our minds
like a broken mirror
part of ourselves
indespensable
like tears from heaven
Earth
wandering through grassy fields
rustling grass
whispering
little noises, insects,
fluttering birds
the warmth
feeds my desire
to a fertile summer
Fire
shadows flare
licking and leaking
chasing away our fear
warms our hearts
destroys and immortalizes
shattering like a sky full of stars
