Air

In this time in which nature is endangered so much, I like to emphasise the importance of water by making hundreds of bowls.

Together, they give shape to a sky filled with clouds.

Bowls to drink water from, falling from the white/grey and blue above.

To make these bowls, I choose for the raku firing process because the crackling reminds of all those wonderful old paintings with cloudy skies (Fyt, Rubens, Teniers).

Installation for a wall.

Currently 3 × 1 meters, but still growing.
